Donald Aronovitch
Financial Advisor
Don Aronovitch graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1966 with a degree in Commerce. He worked at Aronovitch & Leipsic for two years before pursuing an MBA at Columbia University in New York. He returned in 1968 and worked at Aronovitch & Leipsic for 18 years, the last 5 of which were as President & CEO. When he and his brother sold A&L in 1986, Don transitioned his skills set into the Aronovitch Financial Group Inc.
As well as being a Financial Advisor, Don has led an active volunteer life including being President of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, an Executive Member of the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, a Board Member of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, President of the MusikBarock Ensemble and Co-chair of a $1.3 million capital fundraising campaign for the Jazz Studies Program at the University of Manitoba to endow a professorship.
His personal passions include hiking, cycling, reading, classical music and jazz but at the top of the list is wilderness kayaking.
Don received the Jewish community’s highest Volunteer Award – the Sol Kanee Distinguished Community Service Medal.
