Dan Lyttle (CFP) is the CEO, Financial Advisor, and Life Insurance Advisor of Halton Hills Financial Inc. and Manulife Wealth Inc.

Born and raised in London Ontario, Dan graduated in Business Administration and Marketing from Fanshawe College in 1986.   He spent his early career with Ford Motor Credit, and subsequently with Bombardier Capital.  In 1994, he began his financial services career as an Agent for North American Life, where he was responsible for growing the salaried sales force of NAL over a 2 year period.

Following the merger of NAL with Manulife Financial in 1996, Dan was appointed Mutual Fund Branch Manager and Investment Marketing Manager with the Toronto Metro North Branch of Manulife Financial in Markham Ontario. In this role, Dan was responsible for reviewing all Manulife Wealth Inc. trades, while assisting Manulife’s Independent advisors to successfully expand their businesses by promoting Manulife Wealth Inc. services and Manulife Investments products to their clients.

Dan earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1995.  He attends over 50 hours of professional and continuing education courses annually dealing with all areas of Financial Planning.  This includes at least 4-5 days of comprehensive learning with respected colleagues and investment experts to share best practices, unique ideas and current affairs in the Financial Industry.

In 2014, Dan was one of seven Advisors across Canada to win the prestigious Manulife “Triple Crown Award”.  This distinction recognizes a select group of advisors who achieve significant sales status in the three Financial Planning areas: Insurance, Investments and Banking.

Personal

Dan Lyttle (CFP) is the President of Halton Hills Financial Inc.

In 1986 Dan loaded up his Ford EXP and moved to Toronto to start a career in what he figured would be 2 or 3 years of job experience before moving back home to London. Well, one thing led to another and before long Dan had joined a softball team, and met a new group of friends which included his future wife Jordene.

Over 25 years later, Dan and Jordene are the proud parents to 2 children, Lauren and Justin. He never made it back to London, but did manage to move west to Oakville where his family has settled for the past 20 years. Dan has been an active volunteer in Minor Hockey as a coach in both the house league and rep program since 2005. He still manages to stay active by playing organized hockey with his friends every Sunday evening in the winter. Although the level of play has dropped off as each year has gone by, the camaraderie is just as great. In the summer Dan is an avid golfer and the family enjoys spending some quality time together at the family cottage in Grand Bend Ontario.

Something you may not know about Dan

Dan once spent a brief six month gig working in the music industry (peddling concert merchandise for bands like Pearl jam, Foreigner, and Neil Young, just to name a few). He still believes that there is no better place than the old Forum to watch a live concert in Toronto on a warm summer night.
